About Our School

Who We Are

Mountain View is located on the western edge of the Adams 12 Five Star District in Broomfield. It is a large elementary school of 650 students and houses a center-based Deaf/Hard of Hearing (D/HH) program for preschool through fifth graders. The D/HH program serves students in Adams and part of Broomfield County and not just Adams 12 school district. The D/HH program adds an additional 60+ special needs students to our school each year; however this is what makes our school unique.

In addition to the students in our D/HH program, 12% of our student population qualify as English Language Learners (ELL) and approximately 10% of our students are identified as Gifted and Talented (G/T), the largest percentage of any school in the district. We are very proud of our entire Mountain View student and parent community!
