I have been a Teacher Librarian for the past 11 years. I received my masters in library science from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. I began my career as an elementary school librarian at Jefferson Elementary School in Jefferson, GA where I was selected as the Teacher of the Year for the entire district. My husband and I then moved to Colorado where I began working in the Adams 12 Five Star Schools district. I have had the pleasure of being the Teacher Librarian at Mountain View Elementary School since 2005.
