Intermediate Math Club

Intermediate Math Club is geared towards high-achieving 4th- and 5th-grade math students interested in exploring more advanced math concepts. Topics may include: prime and composite numbers; factors, multiples, and divisiblity rules; types of numbers; exponents, square and cubic roots; volume; statistical landmarks; fractions; types of numbers; Fibonacci Sequence and Pascal's Triangle; Multi-step word problems; U.S. customary and metric units; sports statistics; and coordinate grids. Weekly meetings may include a brief lecture/introduction to the topic, vidoes, and activites, and problems.
