🏃‍♀️ Miles for Mountain View Fun Run & Parent-Teacher Conferences

We are getting excited for our Miles for Mountain View Fun Run on October 2! This is always such a fun opportunity for our Bighorns to come together, get moving, and celebrate our school community. Thank you to everyone who is already supporting our fundraiser! Every contribution helps provide additional opportunities and experiences for our students. We appreciate your generosity and enthusiasm as we work together to make this event a success!

We will also be sharing information soon about sign-ups for Parent-Teacher Conferences. These conferences are an important opportunity for families and teachers to connect, celebrate student growth, discuss areas for continued development, and work together to support each child. When families and educators partner together, our students benefit. We look forward to connecting with you and continuing to build strong partnerships around your child’s learning and success.

Together, we climb! 🐏⛰️

Sign Up for our Mountain View Fun Run!

It’s time to rally together for our Mountain View Fun Run fundraiser! Our goal is to raise $20,000 for lunchroom tables, playground shade, field trip buses, classroom budgets, and the One School One Book program, which will enhance our school’s resources and provide our students with an even better educational experience.

To make things even more exciting, if we raise $20,000, we will all earn a Great Wolf Lodge Day Pass and if we raise $25,000 we will get to see someone turned into a Human Sundae!

Plus, Great Wolf Lodge is joining in the fun! When we reach our goal, every student earns a Great Wolf Lodge waterpark day pass. Make sure your family is registered on MyBooster.com so your student can receive this reward, then share your student’s donation page with friends and family to get there!

Hearing and Vision

Hearing and vision screening is on September 23rd. Vision and hearing screening is mandated for all students in kindergarten, first, second, third, fifth, seventh, and ninth grade levels; for children new to the district; and for any child with a suspected deficiency. This screening does not include extensive testing, but if a deficiency is found, the parents are contacted and advised to arrange for a more complete examination by a doctor.

**IMPORTANT All-grades Gifted and Talented identification testing is scheduled to take place on November 11th, 2026.

If you are interested in having your child be considered for the GT identification process, please complete the form below by October 6th, 2026.
