This is my eighth year at Mountain View and I couldn't be more excited for the year to begin!! It is my ninth year in Adams 12. I am a graduate from Colorado State University with a bachelors degree in communication. I received my teaching credentials at Metropolitan State and I finished my masters degree in instructional design from Western Governors' University. I am a Colorado native and in my free time I enjoy seeing live music, traveling, golfing with my partner Keith, and going on the occasionally hike with my pitbull Mocos. As a teacher, I like to teach my kids that you don't always have to be serious to get stuff done. I am pretty goofy and have been known to break out into song and dance on occasion(daily). In my opinion, the classroom should be a place that is full of creativity and laughter. My favorite thing about teaching is seeing my kids grow as learners and more importantly as people. Seeing a kiddo being proud of what they have accomplished is the best thing in the world. I aim to give my students the tools that they need to become thoughtful, kind, and industrious people.
We know that this year is going to be difficult, but we will take it slow, be patient, and get through this together. I believe in open communication so please come to me with any questions and I will share any updates as soon as I can.
