This is my nineth year at Mountain View and I couldn't be more excited for the year to begin!! It is my tenth year in Adams 12. I am a graduate from Colorado State University with a bachelors degree in communication. I received my teaching credentials at Metropolitan State and I finished my masters degree in instructional design from Western Governors' University. I am a Colorado native and in my free time I enjoy seeing live music, traveling, golfing with my partner Keith, and going on the occasionally hike with my pitbull Mocos. As a teacher, I like to teach my kids that you don't always have to be serious to get stuff done. I am pretty goofy and have been known to break out into song and dance on occasion(daily). In my opinion, the classroom should be a place that is full of creativity and laughter. My favorite thing about teaching is seeing my kids grow as learners and more importantly as people. Seeing a kiddo being proud of what they have accomplished is the best thing in the world. I aim to give my students the tools that they need to become thoughtful, kind, and industrious people.
I believe in open communication so please come to me with any questions and I will share any updates as soon as I can.
