Since graduating from the Interpreter Training Program at Waubonsee College in 1993, I have worked exclusively as an educational interpreter. I’ve been lucky enough to have pre-school through 12th grade experience in Illinois, North Carolina, and Colorado school districts. I earned my EIPA certification in 2000.
This is my 19th year at Mountain View and I am so proud to be a part of this amazing school! Before Mountain View I interpreted in the Boulder Valley School District for three years. Prior to that, I interprtered in Wilmington, NC and in Chicago.
I was a co-director of the Mountain View Signing Choir for 9 years– take a look at our page on the MV website to learn more about the choir!
One of my passions outside of school is the circus arts, specifically juggling. I am a member of the International Juggler’s Association and performed for several years with the Windy City Circus. I also love to crochet!
Most of my free time these days is spent with my 8 year old grandson, who gives me such joy!
