This is my 4th year of teaching and I am so excited to be a part of the Mountain View family. I am the husband of an amazing Kindergarten teacher and father of 3 wonderful children, age 6, 13, and 15. For 2 years, I worked with children with severe emotional and behavioral needs at a residential facility while earning my degree in Human Development along with completing my Teacher Licensure program at MSU Denver. Prior to that I had been a Logistics Manager for over 10 years.
Teaching has always been my passion and I’m excited to bring that passion to Mountain View. This year I’ll be supporting your student’s social and emotional growth as we navigate through the exciting realms of science and social studies. In my classroom your student will have many opportunities to collaborate and discuss their learning discoveries with one another to further their understanding and foster a supportive learning community.
When I’m not teaching, I can be found at the playground hopping or skateboarding with my kids, trying to master freeline skates. Enjoying chocolate and cold brewed coffee or exploring trails in our new neighborhood with my wife. Teaching my 15yo daughter to drive. Cooking flavorful foods for my family, playing board games with the family or gaming (after the kids are asleep.)
