As a graduate of Columbia College Chicago, I started working as a Para Educator in the suburbs of Chicago. For seven years, I worked with Pre-K through 5th grade Deaf and Hard of Hearing students in the self contained and mainstream classrooms. I tutored and taught ASL classes to the parents and siblings of the DHH students and enjoyed providing that pertinent communication access needed for a child’s language development and learning.
I am excited to be working at Mountain View Elementary in the DHH K-2nd grade classroom and getting to know the students and staff.
I enjoy hiking, horseback riding, supporting local artists at neighborhood concerts and immersing myself into Colorado’s nature by pursuing photography in my free time.
