I've been involved with Deaf Education since 1987. I worked at a private school for the Deaf in Massachusetts, The Learning Center for Deaf Children, in middle school for 6 years.
I then moved back to Colorado and started my family. I have been married for 30 years and we have a son who is a bankruptcy lawyer in Cincinnati and a daughter who is living in LA and working in the Film industry.
I taught in Jefferson County at Jefferson High School for 6 years in the Deaf Ed department. I then moved north and taught American Sign Language in two Boulder Valley Schools for 2 years.
I am thrilled to be back at Legacy for my twelfth year, though in a new role, and very excited to be teaching at Mountain View for the first time as the DHH ELD teacher!
